From feature enhancements to performance upgrades and bug fixes, DF Studio releases regular software updates throughout the year. We are delighted to announce that the following changes have been deployed to all accounts this December. Enhancements
Uploads & Assignments
- When uploading to a Project which is currently filtered to a particular Setup, that Setup will be pre-selected as the default upload destination.
- When selecting an existing Setup from the menu in the upload configuration panel, the “Existing Setup” option will be selected automatically.
File Management & Organization
- The Find Assets tool is now available for searching within a Collection.
Security & Protection
- Adjusted watermark options to improve the performance and reliability of watermarks. “Scale” mode is now referred to as “Single,” and the “Cover” mode has been removed.
Bug Fixes
Messengers
- Corrected an issue which caused invalid Messenger links to be sent by email in certain situations.
- Addressed a bug which caused watermarked Messenger thumbnails to be displayed as solid black images in specific configurations.
- Fixed a problem which prevented individual file downloads from assets delivered in a Multi-Messenger.
- Adjusted a configuration which caused the “Closable” setting to be disabled by default for some Messengers.
- Corrected a problem which could cause unpredictable behaviors when viewing two Messengers at the same time.
- Fixed a bug which allowed a site’s custom branding logo to appear on Messenger errors at an inappropriate size.
- Addressed an issue which could cause Messenger links to be sent to the same recipient multiple times.
File Management & Organization
- Fixed a bug where links from the Recent sidebar were not properly restoring the user’s last-viewed Edit.
- Resolved an issue which prevented an advanced search for multiple asset filenames from returning valid matches if the filenames were separated by commas.
- Corrected a bug which prevented the “Select All” option from appearing in files view under certain configurations.
Security & Protection
- Resolved an issue which could result in improper previews in some cases where VSP was enabled.
