Proofsheet fixes, Quick Look refinements, and SSO improvement

DF Studio is pleased to announce that the following changes have been deployed to all accounts throughout this February. Up-to-date information on the latest releases can always be found in the Release Notes listing.

Enhancements

Messengers
  • The controls for configuring Messenger options have been adjusted for improved clarity.
Metadata
  • The Export Metadata overlay has been streamlined by removing the outdated “tab” formatting option.
Asset Workflows & Organization
  • The behavior of the Viewing Preferences menu within Projects and Collections has been adjusted so that changes don’t take effect until the “Save” button is clicked.

Bug Fixes

Messengers
  • Fixed a bug which caused the “Edit Details” view to appear empty when adjusting a LIVE Messenger after sending.
Metadata
  • Resolved a problem which caused asset identifiers such as DFS ID and Asset Name to be included in all metadata exports, even when deselected in the Export Metadata overlay.
Account Administration
  • Mitigated an anomaly which caused errors when navigating after authenticating through specific single sign-on (SSO) configurations.
Asset Workflows & Organization
  • Addressed an issue which caused filter menus such as Setups, Selects, etc. to reset when changing from one view to another.
  • Resolved a bug which caused the folder picker in the Add to Collection overlay to become empty under certain circumstances.
  • Rectified a problem which caused Project and Collection links from the left sidebar’s Recent menu to load in thumbnail view instead of the last view accessed.
  • Fixed an issue which caused the Quick Look overlay to close when clicking on the preview or the overlay.
  • Corrected a defect which caused the “Files” button from the Project Inspector to load an empty view.
  • Addressed an error which displayed the wrong dates on assets when viewing search results in icon view.
  • Removed the Setups menu and columns from Collection views, where they had been added erroneously.
  • Corrected an issue which exhibited the “Stay” behavior in the Add to Collection overlay when adding assets from search results, even if the “View” option were clicked.
  • Fixed a problem which prevented multiple assets from being added to a Collection when selected from a search results screen.
  • Resolved an issue which could cause the “thumbnails per page” setting in the Viewing Preferences to be set to zero, resulting in empty views of Projects and Collections.
