Streamlining Performance and fixing bugs
Software Development Update: February 2026
DF Studio is pleased to announce that the following changes have been deployed to all accounts throughout this February. Up-to-date information on the latest releases can always be found in the Release Notes listing.
Bug Fixes
Messengers
- Corrected a misconfiguration which could result in watermarked Messengers being sent without watermarks when re-sent to new recipients.
- Fixed an anomaly which could cause very long recipient names or email addresses to display improperly when addressing a Messenger.
- Addressed a problem which would halt the process of preparing a watermarked Messenger due to failures applying a watermark to a certain asset preview. (A blank placeholder preview will be used instead.)
Metadata
- Restored the ability to drag and drop the values in tokenized fields such as Keywords, in order to re-arrange them.
- Resolved a bug which caused the type-ahead menu to behave erratically on some metadata fields.
- Fixed a bug which could cause Key People to be unset by changes in the Person(s) Shown metadata field.
- Patched a fault which could interrupt the People Recognition process in circumstances where too many small, unrecognizable faces from an image were submitted for processing.
- Corrected an issue which caused messages in the face strip of People View to be surrounded by persistent scroll bars even though no scrolling was needed to view the messages.
Uploads & Assignments
- Addressed a bug which could cause interruptions in the ingestion process, causing some files from an asset stack to be omitted from the asset’s file listing.
Account Management
- Resolved a misconfiguration which caused the Help button in the DF Studio interface to be unresponsive.
Asset Workflows & Organization
- Fixed an issue which caused the Share Link generated from the Messenger Inspector to be formatted improperly.
