Contacts list refresh, Messenger Import enhancements, and more

DF Studio is pleased to announce that the following changes have been deployed to all accounts throughout this June. Up-to-date information on the latest releases can always be found in the Release Notes listing.

Enhancements

Messengers

• The Sender column is now shown in the Messenger History listing, to clarify when Shared Messengers sent by other users are shown in the list.

Uploads & Assignments

• The Upload Monitor screen for configuring a multi-folder upload has been updated for greater clarity.

Account Management

• Tools for managing contacts and groups within the DF Studio account have been redesigned for enhanced clarity and performance, and now open in an overlay to reduce the interruption of other tasks.

Asset Workflows & Organization

• The Asset Inspector and Project Inspector have been visually refreshed for greater clarity and usability.

Security & Protection

• Any external URLs that are displayed within the Messenger interface are no longer clickable links.

Bug Fixes

Messengers

• Mitigated a fault which caused delays in the processing of Messenger Import tasks under certain circumstances.
• Addressed an issue which caused the editing menus to be unavailable in the New Messenger overlay when customizing the message portion of the email to recipients.

Metadata

• Fixed a misconfiguration which caused the Split overlay to re-appear after completing a split operation in the People dashboard.
• Resolved an issue which caused the person view in the People dashboard to designate an Unknown person as a Key Person when viewing matched faces.

Asset Storage

• Corrected a misconfiguration which caused the Storage Overview to omit items using less than 1% of the account’s total storage.

Uploads & Assignments

• Resolved an issue which caused the file counts displayed in the Upload Monitor to appear confusing while a file transfer was in progress.
• Addressed a bug which caused Setup keyframes not to be generated in some cases.
• Restored the proper icon size to the icons in the Upload Monitor task queue.

Account Management

• Patched an anomaly which could allow users in an account with the Protected option active in Contact Sharing to delete a contact they didn’t own.
• Improved the alignment of filtering controls in the Users & Teams control panel.
• Resolved an error which would appear when creating a new contact group.

Asset Workflows & Organization

• Resolved an issue which caused incorrect PDF proofsheets to be generated under certain circumstances when outputting more than one PDF proofsheet from the same Project or Collection.
• Addressed an issue which caused excessive delays when using the “Select All” feature in larger Projects or Collections.
• Fixed a bug which prevented the History tab in the Asset Inspector from populating under specific circumstances.
• Updated selection menus to provide clearer feedback when all options have already been selected.
• Repaired a fault which failed to select the correct asset when navigating a proofsheet view using certain keyboard commands.

API & Integration

• Corrected an anomaly which returned an invalid URL when using the Upload API to upload a file from a provided URL.
