Software Development Update: September 2023

DF Studio is pleased to announce that the following changes have been deployed to all accounts throughout this September. Up-to-date information on the latest releases can always be found in the Release Notes listing.

Enhancements

Account Administration
  • The behavior and layout of the Activity Monitor has been enhanced for further clarity.
Asset Workflows & Organization
  • The Column View in Library folder listings has been refined for a more intuitive experience.

Bug Fixes

Messengers
  • Corrected a bug which prevented the saving of metadata changes in Mobile Metadata Messengers.
  • Addressed an issue which prevented bulk select/approval operations in Messengers from affecting assets across all pages.
  • Fixed a problem which allowed the “Import From Messenger” button to appear in the Project Inspector in cases where the functionality was not available.
Uploads & Assignments
  • Addressed a misconfiguration which caused the generation of playable video previews to fail for some assets.
Asset Workflows & Organization
  • Restored the automatic filtering of asset views to a particular Setup when clicking on that Setup in the Project Details screen.
  • Ensured that the “filtered state” of the Metadata Inspector remains consistent across all views.
  • Fixed a bug which was displaying the incorrect Shoot Date for Projects in Library list views.
  • Corrected a misconfiguration which caused the sort order in Library views to be lost when navigating to another view.
  • Addressed an issue which would cause undesirable behavior when naming a new folder / (the “slash” symbol).
  • Resolved a bug which caused assets to be removed from a Collection when clicking the “Arrange” button while viewing a filtered subset of the Collection’s assets.
