Shared Messengers and API improvements

DF Studio is pleased to announce that the following changes have been deployed to all accounts throughout this May. Up-to-date information on the latest releases can always be found in the Release Notes listing.

Enhancements

Messengers

• Messengers can now be configured with “Shared” mode, allowing other users from the DF Studio account to view and manage them.

API & Integration

• The DF Studio Enterprise Asset API now allows for Library folders to be created independently from Projects.
• The DF Studio Upload API now allows for direct uploads from a valid URL.

Bug Fixes

Messengers

• Addressed an error which caused unintended results when clicking on a PDF asset while viewing a Messenger in Single View.

Metadata

• Corrected a misconfiguration which allowed for changing tabs in the Asset Inspector while leaving metadata changes unsaved.

Uploads & Assignments

• Addressed an error which caused preview generation to fail when uploading certain file types.

Asset Workflows & Organization

• Corrected an issue which caused the filter menus in the menu bar to be unnecessarily narrow.
• Fixed a bug which caused an existing selection in Files View to expand in the wrong direction when pressing Shift + arrow keys.
