DF Studio is pleased to announce its latest software release, which is now being deployed to all accounts. This update improves the stability of Messengers with Conversations enabled, delivers additional information from the Enterprise Asset API, and corrects issues related to searching, uploading, and downloading. Enhancements

Messengers

• Messenger search now supports searching based on the Messenger sender.

Asset Workflows & Organization

• Asset filtering options can now be manipulated in bulk with the use of the Option/Alt hotkey while selecting.
• When opening the folder picker, the current folder’s location within the account’s nested folder structure will now be revealed and focused.

API & Integration

• It is now possible to list an asset’s Collection or Messenger associations through the Enterprise Asset API, or retrieve audits of its history within the system.

Bug Fixes

Messengers

• Resolved an error which appeared in the Notes section of DF Studio Messengers under certain circumstances.
• Mitigated an additional error which appeared in the Notes tab of the Asset Inspector for assets included in a Messenger with Conversations active.
• Fixed a problem which caused Conversations to be disabled for a Messenger’s view-only recipients.

Metadata

• Corrected an oversight which caused details regarding Project metadata to be omitted from the New Assignment overlay.

Uploads & Assignments

• Resolved a fault which allowed invisible characters within the filename of an uploaded file to corrupt the asset’s name in DF Studio, leading to unwanted behaviors.
• Addressed an anomaly which would fail to complete an upload session and deliver an Upload Report if the Upload Monitor window were left open indefinitely.

Downloads & Transfers

• Fixed a bug which caused repeated failures when attempting to download certain files.

Account Management

• Rectified a problem which displayed an incorrectly inflated value for the Project Storage total in the Calculate Storage overlay for accounts configured for asset-based billing.
• Corrected a defect which caused individual contacts and contact groups to be mixed together in menus meant for selecting multiple contacts, rather than organized in separate sections.

Asset Workflows & Organization

• Addressed an error which produced unexpected results from the Advanced Search when searching for a single filename.
• Patched a fault which could cause the filter bar to appear frozen when clearing filters on a large set of assets.

API & Integration

• Resolved an issue which could result in failures when using the UploadSource API methods to transmit files for ingestion.
