Performance enhancements and workflow fixes

DF Studio is pleased to announce that the following changes have been deployed to all accounts throughout this March. Up-to-date information on the latest releases can always be found in the Release Notes listing.

Enhancements

Asset Workflows & Organization

• “No Setup” is offered as an eligible destination for all “Move to Setup” tasks, regardless of a Project’s current Setup structure.

Bug Fixes

Messengers

• Fixed a bug which could cause watermarked Messengers to be generated without watermarked previews when re-opened under certain circumstances.

Metadata

• Resolved an issue which caused the input interface for Person Shown criteria to be improperly formatted when performing an Advanced Search.
• Corrected an anomaly which caused the number of tokenized metadata values displayed in the metadata editor to be capped at 30.

Uploads & Assignments

• Addressed an misconfiguration which caused some file types to be omitted from the display of an asset’s original files as a result of specific uploading conditions.

Asset Workflows & Organization

• Mitigated an issue which could cause the proofsheet view to become unstable or unresponsive when working with very large numbers of assets.
• Corrected a problem which could cause the Inspector sidebar to flicker when making selections in a Library view.
