Navigation fixes, login refresh, and API improvements

DF Studio is pleased to announce its latest software release, which is now being deployed to all accounts. This version features a refreshed login page, fixes to some library navigation issues, and other performance updates. Enhancements
Metadata
- The Person/Role metadata field has been renamed to Person(s) Shown for clarity.
- File metadata field mapping configurations can now be adjusted for DF Studio standard metadata fields.
Asset Workflows & Organization
- The Asset Inspector sidebar has been updated for more efficient loading when navigating through assets.
Security & Protection
- The login page has been streamlined for improved clarity and security.
API & Integration
- Uploading performance has been improved for very large files, with support for streaming data to a file or uploading asynchronously from a signed URL.
- Project listings filtered by metadata values will now return an empty result if the queried metadata field is not configured for the account.
- Updates to asset metadata can now be exempted from metadata validation rules configured for the account.

- Fixed an issue which would display the “Send” button in 1-Up View for users lacking the appropriate permission.
Metadata
- Addressed a misconfiguration which caused type-ahead suggestions to be omitted from search configuration fields in the Find in Project/Collection overlay.
Asset Workflows & Organization
- Mitigated an error which could occur when using the Arrange feature within Collections.
- Addressed a bug which caused the wrong view to load when clicking a folder from the Navigation Path for a Project or Collection.
- Fixed a problem which caused Library views to revert to Column View rather than the most recently selected view option.
- Resolved an issue which caused items in the Navigational Sidebar with long, unbroken names to be displayed without a name.
- Corrected a misconfiguration which displayed confusing results when viewing a Collection or Bin containing assets restricted by a user’s permission settings.
- Addressed a problem which could cause awkward scrolling results in the Navigational Sidebar when editing the Recent menu listing.
- Mitigated an issue which caused bookmarks added from the Recent menu to appear in the Bookmarks menu twice.
- Patched a fault which caused the folder restriction to be ignored when configuring an Advanced Search.
API & Integration
- Corrected a misconfiguration which allowed multiple non-image files of the same file type to be uploaded to the same asset stack rather than replacing previous files as expected.

- Addressed a misconfiguration which caused the sorting of Collection assets to become unreliable.
- Fixed a bug which caused missing values when using the type-ahead menu in metadata fields supported by Metadata Terms.
