People Recognition refinements, People data in metadata exports

DF Studio is pleased to announce that the following changes have been deployed to all accounts throughout this February. Up-to-date information on the latest releases can always be found in the Release Notes listing.

Enhancements

Metadata

• “Key People” and “All People” can now be included in exports of asset metadata.

Asset Workflows & Organization

• Group headers in the proofsheet can be clicked to select all assets in a specific group.
• Group selectors and group headers have been refined for clarity when grouping by star ratings.
• The Group menu has been updated for clarity.

Bug Fixes

Messengers

• Corrected a misconfiguration which resulted in a blank introductory panel when opening a Messenger on a mobile device.

Metadata

• Resolved a bug which could cause unintended matches to appear in the People features when updating the Person/Role field via metadata import.
• Adjusted a behavior which could cause the face counts in the People dashboard to be different from the number of faces detected.
• Resolved a bug which could cause unintended additional face matches to be detected by People Recognition in an image in which a face had already been matched.
• Fixed an issue which prevented the “People” button from opening the People dashboard when selecting a Project in the search results screen.
• Addressed an anomaly which could cause delays in completing metadata writing tasks.

Uploads & Assignments

• Addressed a misconfiguration which caused failures in automatic Setup creation by filename during some uploads.

Account Management

• Patched an anomaly which caused excessive decimal places to be included when displaying dollar amounts in the Billing summary view.

Asset Workflows & Organization

• Addressed an issue which generated incorrect results when searching on the Star Rating field.
• Corrected a bug which prevented the search configuration overlay from retaining the search value from a previous search of the Star Rating field.
• Addressed an issue which prevented opening a Library folder directly from the search results screen.
